Description: In this Mini Conference Frank Figueroa brings two seminars on the theme of Our Rights – Constitutional or Biblical? on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until 12 noon with breaks between the seminars, and extended Q&A after the second seminar:
Session 1: First Amendment Rights Or God Given Rights? Are our First Amendment Rights merely constitutional, or are they biblical? When it comes to our citizenship, many see America as the greatest citizenry to which one can belong. As believers, however, we first belong to God, and this world is not our home―we have a higher standard given to us in the Word of God. In this message, Frank Figueroa will uncover what the Bible says concerning the Freedom of Speech and Religion. He will also address whether or not they are God-ordained principles in the believer’s life.
Session 2: Is the 2nd Amendment Constitutional or Biblical? In America, we are very much in favor of preserving our constitutional rights, but believers should be more consumed with upholding God’s commands in His Word, which are higher than our nation’s laws. What does the Bible say, if anything, about the right to bear arms and to use them to protect ourselves? A little more than one would think. Join Frank Figueroa as he takes you through the Scriptures and teaches about the Second Amendment from God’s perspective―what it is and isn’t. You will then be able to discern if it is something God expects us to support.

Speaker: As a young person Frank Figueroa always struggled with “authority,” and wanted to know WHY he needed to do what he was told to do, especially when it came to organized religion. That changed when someone at a Bible study gave him a copy of Josh McDowell’s book, “Evidence That Demands A Verdict.” The fact that someone was able to systematically and logically validate the truth claims of the Bible is one of the things that led him to place his faith in Jesus Christ.
Frank’s goal is to be able to reach the skeptics like his previous self by being able to share with them that God is a God of design, order and logic. He enjoys having conversations with people about things that are true. Sharing God’s truths in a proper and understandable way is one of his greatest joys.
When Frank is not fulfilling his duties as a speaker, he and his wife love to travel. He also loves shooting sports and especially enjoys bow hunting. His love for archery even led he and his wife to start a ministry to share the gospel along with the skills of archery to the youth of Hawaii entitled, Centershot Hawaii. Frank has a Science Education degree from the University of Hawaii, but his greatest credential is experience and time spent in the ministry.
