Description: After Noah’s Flood was over, God commanded humans and animals to spread across the face of the Earth. But what was this new world like, and how do we know geologically what is included in this time? Here we’ll explore the conditions after the Flood leading to an Ice Age and the movement of animals and humans as they recolonize the world.

SpeakerDr. Marcus Ross has loved paleontology (especially dinosaurs) since he was a kid growing up in Rhode Island. After earning a B.S. in Earth Science from the Pennsylvania State University, he continued his studies with a M.S. in Vertebrate Paleontology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science (Geoscience) from the University of Rhode Island.

Dr. Ross is the CEO of Cornerstone Educational Supply. He served at Liberty University as Professor of Geology and Director of the Center for Creation Studies, and continues to serve as a Fellow of the Center. Given his interest in both science and Christian faith, Dr. Ross has frequently contributed to young-Earth creation research, education, and outreach. Most recently, his interests and efforts have centered on human origins, the geological endpoint of Noah’s Flood, and the evidence for feathered dinosaurs in the fossil record. Dr. Ross is at ease speaking about scientific topics across a wide range of ages and scientific backgrounds while using visually engaging presentations.

You can find a selection of Dr. Ross’ research and technical articles at this LINK.
